A classic example of successful linebreeding to prepotent females, Universal Prince carries the half brothers Bold Reason and Never Bend. It would be interesting to further reinforce this (the SUNSHOT) family by using mares carrying other members such as Grand Chaudiere, King of the Tudors and perhaps more Never Bend.
Another family to exploit in Universal Prince is the marchetta line. He is a direct tail female line descendant and also has a duplication of Turn-to. Other members to look for in mares include My Babu, Alycidon, Imperial Prince, Borealis, Acropolis, Agricola, My Babu, Klairon, Hotfoot, Bustino, Ambiorix, Irish River, Stunning and Pharamond II.
Some dynamic inbreeding can also be created. Unusually, Universal Prince carries Raise a Native, Sir Ivor, Mill Reef and Biscay through daughters, opening the door for mares with sons of these individuals in their pedigrees.
