Broodmares which offer significant contributions to his pedigree through line breeding and repeating successful nicks will maximize the genetic opportunity for inheriting racing ability and associated desirable characteristics in the foal.
Mares from the KENMARE line will create close genetic similarity with Keltrice, a Group One winning sprinter.
Red Dazzler should have considerable success when crossed with mares from the BLUSHING GROOM line. His sire Red Ransom produced Dubai World Cup winner Electrocutionist from this line, while his dam’s half brother Keltrice produced three stakes winners out of mares by NASSIPOUR (Blushing Groom).\
The BISCAY line should also work extremely well with Red Dazzler. Red Ransom’s Gr.1 winning son Charge Forward is out of a BLETCHINGLY mare, while Keltrice’s sons Cross Current and Clevedon have MARSCAY up close.
Red Dazzler’s sire Red Ransom has also worked well with the IN REALITY line. Group One winners Charge Forward and Perfect Sting are out of mares carrying In Reality (sire of KNOWN FACT and VALID APPEAL).
Red Dazzler’s grandsire Roberto is bred on a Turn-to / Bull Lea cross, a pattern which is also present in Reverse, damsire of SEMIPALATINSK.
Danehill is damsire to Red Dazzler. He works very well with MR. PROSPECTOR. In addition, Red Ransom has also produced SW’s Intikhab and Pico Teneriffe out of Mr. Prospector line mares.
SIR TRISTRAM also has a favourable strike rate with Danehill. Group One winners Nothin’ Leica Dane, Danske, Dane Ripper and Blackfriars are examples of Danehill / Sir Tristram combinations.
HALO creates further linebreeding to Danehill’s duplication of Almahmoud. Danehill works well with further lines to NORTHERN DANCER, especially NIJINSKY II.
SUCCESS EXPRESS mares create strong duplications of desirable ancestors with Red Dazzler.
CROWN JESTER (sire of RORY’S JESTER) creates a sex balanced duplication of Wilkes with Red Dazzler.
Red Ransom is from the family of SHOWDOWN, sire of ZEDITAVE.
