Carrying Seattle Slew on his third remove, Rebel Dane may appreciate reinforcement of this, the FRIZETTE family. He also carries one line to Mr. Prospector on his fifth remove. Individuals such as SING SING, DJEDDAH, ROAN ROCKET, TWENTY FOUR KARAT, GREGORIAN, FERDINAND, JET PILOT, TO MARKET, LOMOND, MUKADDAMAH, OMAN and more MR PROSPECTOR in mares’ pedigrees are desirable.
As the presence of SEATTLE SLEW is through a daughter in Rebel Dane’s pedigree, mares with sons of Seattle Slew will create a sex balanced duplication. Examples are AIR DE FRANCE, NINE CARAT and A.P. INDY via sons such as BERNARDINI and CONGRATS.
Seattle Slew’s half brother LOMOND is the sire of successful sire, CITIDANCER, so his daughters or granddaughters would also be appealing for Rebel Dane.
California Dane’s dam is closely related to leading US sire CAPOTE (also by Seattle Slew and from the same immediate family). His son AGINCOURT stood here and has a handful of daughters (and many more that carry him as grandsire) which can exploit this pattern.
Northfields, sire of Northjet in California Dane’s pedigree, is a half brother to HABITAT. Mares carrying Habitat such as daughters and granddaughters of ARCH SCULPTOR, CHIMES SQUARE, EXPORT PRICE, LORD SEYMOUR and BASSENTHWAITE are sought, as are daughters of GRAND LODGE and METAL STORM, who have Habitat as their damsires.
KENMARE and sons such as KELTRICE, KENFAIR, METAL STORM, TRIBU and VERGLAS sex balance Kalamoun for Rebel Dane. The same applies with mares carrying KALAGLOW. Daughters of former Swettenham stalwart DASH FOR CASH offer Kalaglow.
A grandson of Danehill, Rebel Dane also carries Halo and four lines to fellow ALMAHMOUD family member, Northern Dancer. Broodmares with other ALMAHMOUD descendants such as ORPEN, WAY OF LIGHT, MACHIAVELLIAN, ESPERERO, EXIT TO NOWHERE, CANNONADE, CATRAIL, EL MOXIE, YOUTHFUL LEGS, L’EMIGRANT and ARCTIC TERN in their pedigrees provide significant reinforcement for Rebel Dane.

Top class broodmare sire ENCOSTA DE LAGO has an affinity with Danehill line sires. Of his eight Group 1 winners in the role of damsire, five of them fit this description. His daughters and those of his several sire sons are appealing mates for Rebel Dane.
