Onemorenomore is out of a full sister to the dam of Group 1 winner CASINO PRINCE, who is by FLYING SPUR. Red Ransom and his sons have also worked well with Flying Spur, producing stakes winners HEADWAY, THUMP, FORT LINCOLN, CRACK A ROADIE and URBAN GROOVE from Flying Spur mares.
Other sons and grandsons of DANEHILL will also suit Onemorenomore. The Red Ransom / Danehill cross has a very good Average Earnings Index (AEI) of 2.55. In particular, daughters and granddaughters of REDOUTE’S CHOICE are appealing. Apart from being a son of Danehill, he is from the BEST IN SHOW family, reinforcing fellow family member, Try My Best (sire of Last Tycoon) in Onemorenomore.
Red Ransom also works well with the MR. PROSPECTOR line. There are 11 Group 1 winners to-date carrying this combination, including ALL AMERICAN and HEADWAY. Mares carrying Mr. Prospector line sires such as BELLOTTO, DISTORTED HUMOR, EL MOXIE, FAPPIANO, FUSAICHI PEGASUS, GEIGER COUNTER, HUSSONET, KINGMAMBO, JADE HUNTER, MISWAKI (and son UMATILLA), RHYTHM, SECRET SAVINGS (and son DASH FOR CASH), STRAIGHT STRIKE, THUNDER GULCH, UNBRIDLED’S SONG and ZAFONIC contribute this line. Mares carrying SHOWDOWN create line breeding to Red Ransom’s tail female line. Horses bred on this combination (which includes HEADWAY and MASTER HARRY) have an AEI nearly twice the average. Showdown can be sourced through mares by ZEDITAVE and sons MAGIC ALBERT and STRATEGIC and maternal grandson RESET.
Mares by KENMARE or his sons create a desirable sex balanced duplication of this influence.
SIR TRISTRAM contributes LAVENDULA family members Turn-to and My Babu to boost the presence of those individuals in Onemorenomore. Examples from the 14 stakes winners bred on this cross include Group 1 winner PRESSDAY (out of a KAAPTIVE EDITION mare) and Group 2 winner ROMNEYA. Other sources of Sir Tristram include KAAPSTAD, LONHRO, MARAUDING, MILITARY PLUME, OCTAGONAL and ZABEEL.
