Since 2000, Pedigree Dynamics has bought and sold Thoroughbreds with South America. The first transaction involved exporting an in-foal Snippets mare to Chile. This was followed by the purchase for OTI Racing, of the Chilean Turf Horse of the Year, CEFALU (Chi) in 2006. He subsequently won the Listed JRA Cup and was 2nd in the G2 Queen Elizabeth Stakes, the G2 Adelaide Cup and 3rd in the G2 Winning Edge & Listed Heatherlie Stakes before sustaining a career-ending injury at the top of his game.
South American breeding stock imported by Pedigree Dynamics also include triple G1 winner LOVING NEW (Brz), subsequently dam of a G1 winner in Brazil and Australian-bred foals FIRST CRUSH (Listed Grafton Cup) and Dark Matter (HK stakes placegetter). She’s also granddam of G1 winner JUNGLE MAGNATE. Imported G1 winner CRYSTAL CLEAR (Chi) is now granddam of a G1 winner.
