Kempinsky traces in direct tail female line to LADY JOSEPHINE. This is also the family of Royal Charger, Mahmoud (four lines), Fair Trial, Badruddin and Jambo throughout his pedigree. Mares carrying more Royal Charger (a full brother to Kempinsky’s sixth dam) plus Nasrullah, Badruddin, Migoli, Nilo, Faux Tirage, Nassipour, Nabirpour, Tudor Minstrel, Nizami, Furrokh Siyar, Jambo, Aristophanes, Abernant, Nediym, Kalamoun and Prince Taj are desirable.
The presence of Sir Gaylord in Kempinsky also augurs well for mares carrying Secretariat. Such broodmare sires as Dehere, Irgun, Kingston Rule and Mr. Henrysee all contribute Secretariat close up in their pedigrees.
The STAR KINGDOM line has had outstanding success with Danehill, especially mares by Luskin Star, Marscay, Canny Lad and Bletchingly. Kempinsky carries one presence of Star Kingdom on his fifth remove and can certainly handle more in a mare’s pedigree.
Kempinsky’s second damsire Sticks and Stones is by Faringdon, who is a brother to Todman and Shifnal, making mares carrying these two sons of Star Kingdom particularly appealing.
Sir Tristram has also worked very well with the Star Kingdom line, making Kempinsky an even better target for Star Kingdom line mares.
Sticks and Stones is a half brother to Dignitas.
Vain and his sire Wilkes are also working well with Danehill. Danehill has several stakes performed progeny, including Ha Ha, Chuckle, Danelagh, Aquiver, Chuckle and The Golden Dane, who carry Vain or Wilkes in their dam’s pedigrees. Wilkes’ sire Court Martial also appears in the Group One winners Danasinga and Special Dane.
Halo line mares create further linebreeding to Danehill’s duplication of Almahmoud. This is also the family of broodmare sires and grandsire El Moxie, Youthful Legs, Arctic Tern and Machiavellian.
The Mr. Prospector sire line has also had marked success with the Danzig line, bringing in the daughters of stallions such as Thunder Gulch, Woodman, Rhythm, Secret Savings, El Moxie, Bellotto, Mr. Henrysee, Umatilla and Geiger Counter.
Danehill’s damsire His Majesty is from the BOUDOIR (4) family. Crowned Prince, Secreto, Our Poetic Prince and Whiskey Road are amongst its other members. Crowned Prince is the damsire of Zeditave and the sire of Prince Echo.
