The product of 11 years of client service came on 14th October with the win of COOL PASSION in the Group 3 Cape Grim Beef Stakes (Northwood Plume Stakes) at Caulfield.
Pedigree Dynamics purchased her dam Hiavanna (in foal to Fastnet Rock) at auction for long term clients Michael and Jill MacDermott in 2006. An older mare, we managed Hiavanna up until her retirement, planning her remaining matings including two foals by Not A Single Doubt – one being Cool Passion.
Congratulations to her breeders the MacDermotts, broodmare farm Oaklyn at Willowtree for her early care and current owners Anne and John McDonnell, who recently purchased her via Pedigree Dynamics as agent, with a view to obtaining black type and sending her to stud.
May Cool Passion keep climbing the black type tree before next breeding season!
NB: Hiavanna now 23 years old, enjoys retirement at the MacDermott’s WA farm.
