Cool Passion & Champagne Cuddles
Cool Passion, a Pedigree Dynamics planned mating, continued to impress during the Sydney Carnival. Originally raced in Perth, Col Passion is now Adelaide based and won Group races in Melbourne before a trip to Sydney with trainer Tony McEvoy.
A ding-dong battle with Champagne Cuddles in the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes on 22 February saw Cool Passion tire on the fence to run second. She then lined up for the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes, running a creditable 4th behind Trapeze Artist, Shoals and Prompt Response after being slowly away.
