Danzig is from the LADY SUSAN family and would benefit by the presence of other family members BLETCHINGLY, ROCKEFELLA, KAMPALA and SHOWOFF II. Sons of Bletchingly with daughters of breeding age include CANNY LAD, SIR LAURENCE, BEST WESTERN, COSSACK WARRIOR, BUREAUCRACY, OPERA PRINCE and KENNY’S BEST PAL.
Danzig’s grandsire Nearctic works very well with STAR KINGDOM and ALIBHAI, who both repeat his Hyperion / Tracery cross. Star Kingdom will also appreciate the presence of two lines of Princequillo in Anabaa. He also shares a pattern with Star Kingdom. Anabaa’s flying filly Donna Natalia is by the Star Kingdom line stallion, Marscay.

Mares carrying COURT MARTIAL should also work well with Anabaa. He is bred on the same cross as Petition in Danzig. Court Martial is most commonly found as the sire of WILKES, in turn sire of VAIN. Vain appears in the pedigree of Centaine, the damsire of Anabaa’s promising son, King of Prussia.
Anabaa is from the PARAFFIN family line mare Balbonella, this family also being represented by Tudor Melody within the first seven generations of Anabaa’s pedigree. Sir Gaylord in Anabaa’s damsire’s pedigree works very well with his half brother, Secretariat. DEHERE, KINGSTON RULE and AL KHAWAANEEG mares all offer a line to Secretariat. The pedigree of Donna Natalia possesses another member of this family, Moslem Chief, through her dam Marskin.

Anabaa’s damsire Gay Mecene is out of Gay Missile. She is second dam of SPECTACULAR SPY and third dam of BITE THE BULLET and HONOR GRADES. Honor Grades looks particularly appealing as the sire of broodmares for Anabaa, as his damsire is Secretariat.
